My first attempt Ever to Sew!
Well Angie from Chic N Scratch has inspired me to try and make a rag quilt purse. I"m so excited to try this but I have never ever sewn before so this should be really interesting. I bought my fabric and have it all cut and ready for sewing. My neighbor Penny is coming over tomorrow night to teach me how to sew using her sewing machine. How nice is that?! I'm hoping to make a few and give them as Christmas gifts this year, so wish me luck and if it turns out half way decent I will post a picture here this weekend. Stay tuned.... :)

Definition of Gossip
I thought it would be interesting to share the definition of Gossip today. So often feelings get hurt and things get misinterpreted because of incorrect facts.
1.
idle talk or rumor, esp. about the personal or private affairs of others: the endless gossip about Hollywood stars.
2.
light, familiar talk or writing.
3.
Also, gos⋅sip⋅er, gos⋅sip⋅per. a person given to tattling or idle talk.
4.
Chiefly British Dialect. a godparent.
5.
Archaic. a friend, esp. a woman.
–verb (used without object)
6.
to talk idly, esp. about the affairs of others; go about tattling.
–verb (used with object)
7.
Chiefly British Dialect. to stand godparent to.
8.
Archaic. to repeat like a gossip.
Origin: bef. 1050; ME gossib, godsib(be), OE godsibb, orig. godparent, equiv. to god God + sibb related; see sib1 Related forms:
gos⋅sip⋅ing⋅ly, adverb
Synonyms:1. small talk, hearsay, palaver, chitchat. Gossip, scandal apply to idle talk and newsmongering about the affairs of others. Gossip is light chat or talk: to trade gossip about the neighbors. Scandal is rumor or general talk that is damaging to reputation; it is usually more or less malicious: The town never lived down the election scandal. 3. chatterer, talker, gabbler, rumormonger. 6. chatter, prattle, prate, palaver.

Please Vote!
If you would like to see my blog stay active please leave me a comment voting so. I've noticed a huge decrease in sales and activity on my blog and don't want to waste my time investing in this blog if no one is interested in it. I know life happens especially to me, but I just need to know if its worth me keeping by blog or not. I do appreciate everyone's business and love to hear comments when you see a project that you like or even dislike for that matter. If there is something that you would like to see on my blog that I'm not providing please let me know and I will try my best to accomodate. My goal is to make my customers happy! :)
